Okay, so. You've just started your new diet. You want to lose a few pounds and feel good, you've heard the stories about how meal replacement shakes can help you to lose fat (they really can). But why are you losing fat whilst using them?
Could it be that the shake is magic and has some kind of fat burning healthy ingredients that are just melting away the lbs, OR could it be the fact that you are replacing a poorly chosen 700+ calorie meal with a 200 calorie shake.
That's a difference of 500 calories total at the end of your day which could put you in the calorie deficit NEEDED in order for you to be losing fat. So, YES. meal replacement shakes work!
